MINIMALIST ART by Duane :)

I like to draw. I don’t draw very often, but when the mood strikes me I can spend a few hours drawing. I always have an image in my head of what I want my art to look like. Sometimes it’s close and sometimes it's miles from what I envisioned. Not sure why. Anyways, today I want to share with you my latest collection of very quick sketches I call “Minimalist Art”. Enjoy.

  1. Hi Duane!
I think these would look good framed in simple black frames and hanging on the walls of your now minimalist house!
My favourite is the Cat. You really caught the 'catness' of a cat in that :-)

  2. Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your comments. I was thinking about the plain black frames, too! :)
Have a good weekend my friend!

  3. I'm groovin on especially the cat and coffee. And Raindog is right about the frames. Quite avant-garde I'm thinkin.

  7. That cat is wonderful. In high school art, I'd also like to decorate my sketchbook with doodles of cats (because cats are awesome, right?), but I never really found a good way to draw a simple caricature of a cat, that picked up all the attitude and shape of a cat without being over drawn.

Well you did it. I've been watching your videos on YT and reading your posts here, and not are only are you every bit of the active, fun, optimistic person that I want to be one day, but you also draw cats better than me. I've been pretty down lately, but the things you say and do really lighten my mood. Thank you for sharing your life with people online man, you're a great person.
